RTS Turkey (Renal Tedavi Hizmetleri Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.) was established in March 2002 with the partnership of Eczacıbaşı and Baxter and started its activities accordingly.

RTS (Renal Therapy Services) was first founded in 1993 by Baxter in the United States of America.  The most important reason why RTS has been structured as an organization separate from Baxter is that it is a service provider.  Having established a partnership first with Transmed Dialysis Center in Istanbul, RTS Turkey has also established  partnerships later with Rentıp, Bursa in August 2002 and with Yaşam Diyaliz, Eskişehir in September 2002. 

In addition to these partnerships, Beyhekim Dialysis Center in Konya has started to provide services in September 2002 as the first dialysis center of Turkey built by RTS itself.  Furthermore, this center has put its stamp as a pioneer in the sector by obtaining  the first private Peritoneal Dialysis license in Turkey.  Total number of centers raised to 6 and the total number of patients to 900 with the inauguration of RTS Yıldırım Center, Bursa, of which construction was completed in December 2002, and with the acquisition of Almet Dialysis Center, Kayseri in June 2003.

Besides the growth at its existing centers in parallel with its targets, RTS has continued to maintain its investments in various cities in Turkey.  In October 2003, it has incorporated the Southeast Dialysis Center, a leading dialysis center in Gaziantep with 90 patients.  With the opening of RTS Adana and RTS Europe (the second RTS Center in Istanbul) in early 2004, the total number of centers has reached to 9.  RTS Turkey has completed its growth in 2004 with the opening of Antalya Dialysis Center and started 2005 with a partnership established with Onur Dialysis Center in May. With the opening of İzmir Dialysis Center in July 2005, the total number of centers reached to 12. RTS Gulbahcesi and RTS Seyhan which is the second center in Adana started service in 2006.  With the opening of RTS Gemlik Dialysis Center, total number of clinics reached to 15. At the beginning of 2007, RTS İzmit Maruf Dialysis Center started operation. In addiation to all these centers, Trabzon, Denizli , Nizip and 3 dialysis centers in Ankara which are Deva, Meltem , Mentaş has strated to operate , the total number of centers has reached to 22 in 2007.

With 20 consultant nephrologists who are worldwide renown in their own field,  23 responsible specialist physicians, 66 practitioner physicians, 184 nurses and 437 assistant staff, RTS Turkey presently provides services to totally 3264 last-period renal disability diseaseds at world standards.
